Our rate is 260€ per hour with a minimum cruise time of 2 hours. The boat can host up to 10 people; from the fifth passenger, a surcharge will be applied to each extra person. Discount will be applied on multi-hours tour.
The island is full of history: initially inhabited by the Romans, the Lombards subsequently invaded it in the 6th century. In 1169, Frederick Barbarossa took control of it and burned it to the ground. In 1175, the Bishop of Como cursed the island and enacted a ban on construction. Only in the 17th century was the small church of San Giovanni erected, and in 1940 the well-known architect Pietro Lingeri, a leading figure of the Italian rationalism along with Giuseppe Terragni, built three Houses for Artists. Regardless of its turbulent history, the island is one of the lake’s most beautiful and fascinating spots.
